System Administrator

Job Description:

System administrators (or sysadmin or systems administrator) are responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. They install hardware and software and participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of their organization. System administrators also actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing Windows and Mac systems
• Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
• Performing regular security tests and security monitoring

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Tech-Undergraduates, Graduates, and Diplomas

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Computer skills (Excel, MS Office Word, PPT, internet navigation)
• Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, Domain Name System (DNS), Servers, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), VMware
• Good cognitive abilities
