The client is a real estate development company operating in the Midwest and Mountain states with Headquarters in Denver, Colorado. The client is engaged in consulting, acquisition, brokerage, development, construction, leasing, and management activities. It serves the commercial real estate needs of all its customers throughout the USA.

The Need

As Microsoft has chalked the Skype for Business retirement date for July 31, 2021, and has planned a Skype to Teams migration for all Skype users, the client wanted to make a quick transition and make Microsoft Teams the hub for communication and collaboration by moving out from Skype for Business.

At the client’s side, Skype for Business (SFB) was coexisting with Microsoft Teams and they were looking to migrate to Teams (Teams-only) as soon as possible. They wanted to enable Teams for all the users and make the platform the primary communication and collaboration tool for all the employees.
