This Model provides customers a cost-effective and high-quality software development and support environment to support staffing small (as measured in hours and days) but vital departmental software projects, with time-sensitive end-customer production requirements. Key value of ROD Services is to provide customers with finite technical resources, a ‘go-to’ technical team with appropriate resources to immediately handle unanticipated software business spikes and other critical technical needs.
ROD Services are SLA-based, no minimum project size with completion in hours or days, offered and highly-competitive hourly rates. Deliverables include quality code, documentation, installation, and e-training.
In this Model, customers pay for the actual ROD resources employed for their software support needs. Project fees are calculated as an hourly rate based on the technical environment and approach, type, level and the number of technical resources required. All work is documented within consultant timesheets that require joint approval with the customer as a prerequisite to invoicing. All out-of-pocket expenses for software licenses and other direct project expenditures are reimbursable expenses.
