The client, a large investment management firm, needed an automated system to generate daily portfolio reports for high-profile customers. Each customer required a personalized PDF reflecting their trades and fund transactions, delivered securely via email with digital signatures.

Our Approach / Contribution
Star Knowledge implemented a Power Automate workflow to automate the end-to-end generation, signing, and distribution of daily portfolio reports. The workflow was triggered by uploading a master Excel file containing customer trade and fund data to a specified folder. Each customer’s data was filtered and processed to perform necessary calculations. Word templates were dynamically populated based on portfolio type, converted into PDF, digitally signed using Adobe Sign connectors, and then stored in SharePoint. Finally, the signed PDFs were emailed to the respective customers automatically.
